The owner/operator of a high volume restaurant stepped away from the day-to-day activities of running the restaurant.  After a few online reviews about the cleanliness of the restaurant, the owner needed to check things out.  The owner was not thoroughly satisfied with the performance of the previous cleaning vendor. Challenge:

A high profile, highly trafficked commercial building was seeking a new facilities maintenance team to manage their 60,000 square foot building and 70,000 square feet of parking. With thousands of daily activity over 22 hours a day, the building cleanliness was of the utmost importance. Additionally, a client priority was to work with a thorough and professional staff that could adapt to a corporate environment.

Challenge:

A local college was in need of cleaning services after their former company went out of business. The prior company referred Excel Cleaning Services to continue their services. Imaginably, the college’s largest challenge with running a 10,000 square feet space, with several hundred active visitors, was the cleanliness of the floors.

Solution:

“Our floors should look like a showroom at all times.” After an assessment, Excel put together a floor schedule that would accommodate the amount of traffic, as well as the use of a solution applied to the floor that enhances the shine of the floor. They receive:

·      A reset each year that includes floor stripping and waxing

·      A quarterly floor detailing that includes scrubbing and waxing

·      A bi-weekly buffing

·      A day porter to service restrooms, break rooms, and other    as-needed cleaning services

 Result:

Prior to hiring Excel Cleaning Services the customer was changing cleaning team at least every six months. Additionally, there were complaints that the previous company did not properly service the floors to provide the cleanliness that the headquarters requested.
